This special issue aims to expand and spread knowledge about access to justice as a right and a necessity for the social and economic development. The idea is to correlate issues that are fundamental to ensure a minimal dignity to human beings of any country. It is known that access to justice is essential to ensure reliability and the development of the Democratic State of Law because it will be the last way able to ensure freedom and the minimum existential minimum requirements. Therefore, the issue proposes to analyze the jurisdictional tutelage as legitimizing essence of the legal system. The goal of this special issue is to encourage debate and explore modernization and increment of these three possibilities proposed: access to justice, law and development. The scientific production expect to achieve with this issue are those that observes and relate access to justice as a protection of Human Rights and development.
