About This Special Issue
Mineral processing has a widely aspects. Recently, interactions between two routes for processing of minerals are unavoidable. Flotation as a common method for minerals upgrading is very important between mineral processing methods. In the flotation process, chemical reagents such as collectors, frothers, activators, depressants, and pH modifiers use very much. These reagents have environmental effects/probleams. On the other hand according to their chemical composition and chemical structure, they have negative and positive effect on the upstream process like bioleaching and waste water management. Therefore, fundamental investigations on the chemical reagents and their effect on the interactions between flotation process and upstream are important.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Biohydrometallurgy
  2. Flotation
  3. Biodegradation
  4. Biosorption
  5. Frother
  6. Collector
  7. pH modifier
  8. Activator
  9. Depressants
  10. Environmental problems
  11. Waste water assessment
